One of the hardest things about starting Woodturning is sourcing appropriate wood to turn. For this reason I am supplying a small range of Hardwood for direct sale. Beech is a great wood to practice on to learn how to turn.
Order must be kept under 25KG maximum to keep the shipping weight manageable and the box in good shape without bursting. These pieces are approximately 3.4KG each so no more than 7 in any box can be shipped. I'd advise 6 or less.

This size is ideal for making bowls for novice Woodturners. I keep getting requests to stock bowl blanks so I am willing to try it and see if there is a market for them.
I intend to ship them in square form as it allows you to alter to suit your own needs. If I round them, you are stuck with the orientation I decide. For anyone who doesn't own a bandsaw and would like me to round the blank for you; just send me a message asking for it to be done. Keep in mind that this may delay the dispatch of your order.
The endgrain is not sealed on these blanks.
This wood may have natural marks or saw cuts in places but will turn away.
I am keeping the price low for now. I hope to stock 2 other smaller sizes of Bowl Blanks in the near future.
