This highly tactile light pulls or cord pulls will replace those awful plastic handles that come as standard with many units and transform any room in an instant. Made from Irish Ash which was sourced in Tralee Co Kerry. 
 
Dimensions 80mm in length and 36mm in diameter approximately at the longest and widest points. They have a 3mm hole for the cord and a 6mm recess for the knot. Designed for use with the standard 1mm cord, see pictures above. The shape is freehand and unique.
 
Weight 34g. Finished with Danish Oil, Hard Wax Oil and buffed with Carnauba Wax. 

These light pulls or cord pulls are so much easier to use compared to the little plastic versions and are really brilliant for anyone who is unfortunate enough to have difficulties/problems with their hands such as pains, arthritis etc. They also change the aesthetic look of the room and draw the eye.

This piece is sold without a cord, you will use the cord that you already own.
 
Installation;
Lift the original plastic cap and undo the knot holding it in place.
Try and straighten the cord so it will pass through the 3mm hole.
If you can't straighten, cut the cord end with a scissors and use a lighter to seal the loose fibres.
Gently push the cord through, turning the wood in your hand helps .
You may have to use a toothpick to push the cord through if it gets stuck.
Once through, tie a singlle knot; this is generally sufficient to support the piece.
The knot should push up into the hole and be hidden.
