Handcrafted Hanging Ornament x 1 made from Irish hardwood.
 
This piece is part of my newest range (2022) of multi-coloured ornaments which have proved very successful in the shops every year and all year round. The colouring slows down the process meaning only a few can be made at a time.
 
This single piece is made from Ash and comes from Tralee Co. Kerry.  It Measures 100mm x 35mm & weighs 18 grams approx.  It has a beautiful grain pattern all over and a very pleasing artistic finial design shape.  It is coloured using Hampshire Sheen Intrinsic colours and embellished with Hampshire Sheen Gold Embellishing Wax.
 
This piece is very finely sanded and coated with Sanding Sealer and 2 wax compounds.
 
These designs started as Christmas Tree Decorations but I find that people are buying them all year round as hanging ornaments and small gifts for family and friends.  Each piece is individually crafted from Irish hardwoods.  The design of each is freehand to add to it's uniqeness. 
This piece was sourced in Ireland and produced in my workshop in Tralee Co. Kerry

Important; Due to the wax coatings this piece should be stored safely in your home and not in an attic where the high temperatures will melt the wax finish.
