Hamlet HCT131 3/8 Inch Comb. Left & Right Captive Ring Tool
 
These are the tools developed to produce a loose ring on a child’s rattle, curtain rings or bangles on spindle work. It can also be used to create Captive Rings on Goblets which make amazing Wedding Gifts.
 
Simply present the tool to the work with the leading edge/ horn and produce one side of the ring. Then turn the tool over to produce the other side, once the cut is complete the ring will be loose. There are two other sizes available; HCT130 & HCT132.

Hamlet tools are made for both the discerning professionals and amateur wood turners. Made in Sheffield from high speed M2 steel they represent good value for money and will give a long working life if looked after.
