Hamlet HCT109 1/2 Round Bar Skew Chisel
 
Hamlet tools are made for both the discerning professionals and amateur woodturners. Made in Sheffield from high speed M2 steel they represent good value and will give a long working life if looked after.
 
Round skews are a relatively new tool for spindle work, designed to make skew chisel work easier to perform.
 
Made from round bar they will slide along the tool rest without catching and they will roll easily when producing beads and creating V Cuts or expanded V Cuts.

Ideal for rolling the Tool over without drag.

Woodturner's Tip
Round bars may roll on a grinding platform and upset the surface so you may have to use or create a jig to hold it precisely.  Tormek Jigs are ideal. They are easy enough to grind once you have a bit of practise.
