This Lathe Safety Cloth is safe to use on a work piece spinning on a lathe. It is a paper cloth thicker than kitchen towel.  Hold liquid polished etc longer than regular paper towel. Use multiple times before moving on to a new piece. Ensures application of an even layer of polish or wax . If snagged it will tear, preventing injury to the user. Never use a fabric cloth on a spinning lathe as should the cloth catch while turning it could pull your hand/arm onto the lathe.
