Back in 2019 I was asked by a student to take some professional photos of me working in my workshop as a college project. These are some of my favourite pictures from the day. I should add that I absolutely hate being photographed and anytime you see a picture of me, it took a lot of effort to be in frame.

It was initially fairly nerve wracking having someone take pictures of me while I was at work but most of it was out of my eye line and it was grand after a while. It's nearly impossible for me to take good quality photos of my own work because I am so fixated on the work itself that it is hard to see the work independently in an artistic manner. I can see the art in a photo but capturing it is another matter entirely. The pictures may seem a little out of order but I was photographed using 3 different lathes making pieces on each of them.
